In SMK Mantin, we believe in Total Quality Management. We strive to implement the principles of TQM in every aspects of school life from curriculum matters to cocurricular activities. At present, we are actively involved in the image building and rebranding of the school. The initial focus was on the physical aspects of the school environment. We feel that this is the easiest to achieved and the most important to strive for. We should have window panes; fans should work and lights should be functional. The school buildings should be attractive. Visually, the school is now quite presentable. Yet we are constantly improving in the most cost-effective way. Rebranding is actually a process to change the society's impression and view about the school. We want the past to be forgotten and we want to build pleasand memories and ideas about the school both amongst the teachers, students and the parents. We do this through a revamp of at the discipline system, especially its implementation. Enforcement and education play equally important roles. A quick and effective way to improve school morale is through successes in cocurricular activities which can be achieved through systematic planning and training. Here the cheerleaders and the newly formed orchestra play a vital role. Innovation is the best way for the school to stand out. We want SMK Mantin to be different in a positive way. In fact, we are very different from what we used to be. We can only get better with each day. So, watch this space, we have many things up our sleeves.
